What You'll Do:
Provide exceptional patient care, adhering to all protocols and regulations.
Safely transfer and transport patients requiring various levels of care.
Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions within your scope of practice.
Prepare detailed patient care reports, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Ensure ambulances and equipment are in top working order.
Collaborate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
What You'll Bring:
Certification as a Maryland Paramedic (and willingness to obtain DC Paramedic certification).
Current CPR, National Certification, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Experience in inter-facility transport is a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (for drivers).
EVOC certification or equivalent (for drivers of ALS units).
Ability to lift 150 lbs and move patients of all sizes.
Ability to navigate stretchers safely in various environments.
Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful patient care.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
