Outside Sales Representative - Tallahassee/Pensacola, FL Territory (Remote, Travel Required)
About the Role:
Are you a motivated sales professional with a passion for the veterinary industry? We're looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team and help drive growth in the Tallahassee/Pensacola, FL territory. In this role, you'll partner with veterinary clinics, universities, and research facilities to provide high-quality veterinary products and solutions. This is a remote position that requires regular travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
What You'll Do:
Build and maintain relationships with veterinary clinics, universities, and research facilities.
Promote and sell veterinary supplies while sharing industry insights to help clients grow their businesses.
Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives to maximize sales opportunities.
Plan and organize monthly sales activities, including product presentations, literature distribution, and follow-ups.
Stay up to date on sales promotions, new products, and market trends.
Partner with vendor representatives to enhance product knowledge and sales strategies.
Attend educational meetings, trade shows, and training sessions to stay current in the field.
Provide territory updates and reports as needed.
Manage and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
Handle other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; a four-year college degree is preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience in the veterinary industry (sales experience is a plus).
Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to educate clients and recommend solutions that meet their needs.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and occasional rejection in sales.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for sales calls.
Willingness to travel, including overnight stays and air travel for training and meetings.

Work Environment:
