Job Description

The Graphic Designer will play a key role in elevating the aesthetics & impact of the content produced by Diamonds International's fast-growing marketing/brand department. This individual will lead two essential functions: 1) providing professional design services to marketing/brand department 2) architecting effective sales collateral that aligns with Diamonds International's overall brand portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Consistently produce a high volume of quality work under pressure and exact deadlines
• Design (either original or modifying existing) company ads, promotional materials and collateral
• Image editing, manipulation and color correction and illustration work
• Be able to work independently or as a part of a creative team to finish projects
• Be able to clarify design concepts and principles to non-designers
• Maintain consistent brand identities across all media and adhere to brand guidelines provided
• Design sales materials -- including but not limited to presentations, one-sheets, infographics/data visualizations, event collateral, and web pages -- with direction & input from marketing/brand departments
• Collaborate with marketing team members to determine how to best tell stories visually within ad sales materials
• Constantly think about and execute on ways to scale limited design resources efficiently by building and distributing easy-to-use templates, utilizing presentation management software, researching/recommending tools & processes, and more

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in graphics; freelance experience a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Mac/PC platforms, HTML, Adobe CS6/Cloud: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark Express, Lightroom, Keynote, Bridge and Acrobat, WordPress and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to design around concepts
• Ability to think outside of the box and take creative lead if necessary
• Ability to work independently and also to be a team player
• Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast paced work environment
