Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans- Monitor network traffic for potential security breaches- Investigate and respond to security incidents- Manage and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security of cloud infrastructure and IT infrastructure- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies- Provide guidance and support to end-users on security best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field- Proven experience working as an IT Security Specialist or in a similar role- Strong knowledge of VPN technologies, network protocols, and network security concepts- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nmap and Burp Suite- Experience with incident management and incident response processes- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure security principles and best practices- Understanding of WAN technologies and network architecture- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls- Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as FedRAMP, COBIT, and ISO 27001
