Position Objective:
A concierge team member at Darioush is responsible for the initial interaction and engagement with guests and members of the winery and will embrace the nurturing of genuine and meaningful relationships while delivering a memorable experience with charm, individuality and professionalism. The ideal candidate will deliver the Darioush Experience while proudly representing our vision and philosophy when sharing and promoting our hospitality offerings. This role will work closely with partners and influencers in the wine industry. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Embody our culture of hospitality when interacting with our guests and deliver the Darioush Experience. Demonstrate exemplary verbal communication and body language. Professional ambassadorship to Darioush. Adjust based on social cues and/or communication to accommodate our guest. Stay up to date and educated on the Darioush wine portfolio, culinary and guest experiences and maintain an intimate awareness of our daily hospitality activity. Develop strategy with the Director of Concierge Services to enhance our experiences and accommodate demand while taking care of valuable guests and industry and trade partners. Presentation of our hospitality offerings and booking tasting reservations at Darioush. Work collaboratively with all members of the operation. Concierge is a liaison between guests and members of the team including Hospitality Managers, Guest Services, Stewards, Direct to Consumer, Marketing and Culinary. Responsible for connecting with guests ahead of arrival and acquiring all specific details for all teams to best prepare for visits while memorializing these clearly and succinctly in our platforms. Collect and maintain detailed guest and members’ objective and concise notes in our CRM and booking platform. Enthusiastically maintain knowledge of all happenings in Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley and San Francisco to enrich recommendations for guests. This might include attendance at local events and engaging with local industry professionals. Build and nurture existing and new relationships with partners, as well as other influencers in the wine and hospitality industry. Knowledge of local restaurants, and familiarity with principals at other wineries, influential industry partners, luxury service providers (hotel concierges, drivers/transportation professionals, DMCs, Event Planners, and others) and other key ambassadors in Napa Valley. Assist First Offering members with the planning of their upcoming trip to Napa Valley and including exceptional itineraries. Collaborate and support our Concierge/Reception Host welcoming guests upon arrival Provide excellent attention to detail in all responsibilities including administrative support. Assist with daily reports and projects as needed and requested On occasion, assist with events Maintain a neat and organized workspace. Be aware of and adhere to all standards and requirements as outlined in Team Member Handbook. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of customer service/hospitality experience, preferably in the wine industry or related fine dining or luxury hotel operations. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and high performance with other software platforms. College degree Passionate in hospitality Empathetic, genuine and trustworthy individual Strong work ethic, comfort with public speaking, and being a consummate team player with genuine enthusiasm to share your passion for wine is paramount. Ability to multitask and remain calm while assisting guests on property. Exceptional Phone and Email etiquette Familiarity with other wineries principals, influential industry partners, luxury service providers (hotel concierges, drivers/transportation professionals, DMCs, Event Planners, and others) and other key ambassadors in Napa Valley. Extensive wine knowledge and certification or coursework from professional industry groups is preferred. Interest in different subjects, from culinary, wine, travel and lifestyle are a plus. Strong work ethic, comfort with public speaking, and being a consummate team player with genuine enthusiasm to share your passion for wine is paramount. Position Requires to maintain a flexible schedule to be present based on business levels.
